We have two local donation pick up providers in Kansas City, Missouri. Red Racks Thrift Store’s pick up zone covers much of The Northland, Wornall, Downtown, Independence, Lee’s Summit, and Blue Springs. City Thrift picks up around the Waldo area in Missouri. However, don’t worry about figuring out which area you are in. When you enter your zip code, our system will correctly route you to the appropriate pick up provider for your area.

Red Racks Thrift Store is owned and operated by the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The Disabled American Veterans provides transportation to and from doctors appointments, help with claims and benefits for our Veterans, and essential socialization opportunities for the troops as they transition back to civilian life.

Kansas City is a big city with a small town feel. We are very community oriented and we love our BBQ! From the Royals to the Chiefs, we can all support our hometown teams. We also support our hometown heroes including first responders and our Veterans, right down to the WWI Museum!
There are tons of fun things to do in Kansas City. You can hear some jazz at 18th and Vine, catch a KC Royals Baseball game or a KC Chiefs Football game. Eat some great BBQ and then watch the Mavericks hockey team. You can visit the Kansas City Zoo or even catch a concert or musical at Starlight Theater.
We have lots of shopping outlets as well, both indoor and out. Plus, the great thrift stores that give back to the city.
