What’s different about a pickup in San Diego
Tell us these up front and we match you with a partner that can handle it:
- Military moves. PCS season (May through August) is the busiest time for pickups; request early and give a range of dates.
- Condos and HOAs. Note elevator reservations or loading-dock rules; some HOAs require advance scheduling.
- Canyon streets. Steep or narrow streets in Mission Hills and La Jolla affect which truck is sent.
Neighborhoods we serve
Partners serve North Park, Hillcrest, Normal Heights, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Point Loma, Clairemont, Mira Mesa and Rancho Bernardo in the city, plus Chula Vista, National City, La Mesa, El Cajon, Santee, Poway, Escondido and Oceanside. Availability varies by zip code and item; enter your zip code and the form checks coverage for you.
Donating furniture in San Diego
Furniture is the most requested pickup. Sofas, dressers, dining sets and bed frames in clean, intact condition are welcome with most partners; mattresses and damaged upholstery usually aren’t. See what furniture qualifies for free pickup before you submit. If your piece doesn’t qualify, Priority Pickup takes it for a fee. Hoping Goodwill or the Salvation Army would come instead?
